Intro (Rally Chant)
Cameroon! (clap-clap) — Rise!
Cameroon! (clap-clap) — Rise!
Verse 1:
We are the youths of Cameroon,
Called to serve with heart and mind,
In truth, respect, and discipline,
Leaving every wrong behind.
No violence, no drugs, no hate speech,
We choose the righteous way,
With hard work, peace, and unity,
We build tomorrow, starting today.
Chorus
Oh youths arise, Cameroon calls,
At sixty years we proudly stand,
With faith, with hope, with dignity,
We shape the future of our land.
Say no to crime, say yes to right,
Together hand in hand,
We are the hope, the voice, the strength,
The pride of Cameroon our land.
Unison Hook (After Chorus — crowd shout / marching):
One voice! One land! Cameroon!
Verse 2 (Short, singable lines for young voices):
See the dawn — our steps are sure,
Hands together — hearts are pure.
In every class, in every street,
We lift our dreams on steady feet.
Work with courage, stand and share,
Truth and honor everywhere.
For our schools, for our home,
Youth will build and never roam.
Chorus (repeat)
Oh youths arise, Cameroon calls,
At sixty years we proudly stand,
With faith, with hope, with dignity,
We shape the future of our land.
Say no to crime, say yes to right,
Together hand in hand,
We are the hope, the voice, the strength,
The pride of Cameroon our land.
