You Are the Trophy 1
Reggae
[Intro – Soft Reggae] When the road gets rough, don't lose your way, When the night gets dark, God still makes a way. Victory may be the result, but you are the prize, Ọlọ́run ló mọ̀ ọ̀nà rẹ — just keep your eyes on Christ. [Chorus] Win or lose, IBK, you're the trophy, A ṣẹ́gun tàbí a ṣẹ́gbẹ̀ — Ọlọ́run ṣì wà pẹ̀lú rẹ. Don't let defeat define you, Don't let victory change you. Keep growing, keep learning, keep becoming, Ẹni tí Ọlọ́run dá ẹ sí ni ayé rẹ ń pè ọ́ sí. [Verse – Emotional] If you fall, rise again, ọmọ mi, If you cry, God is near, má bẹ̀rù. Your scars are not your failure, Your journey is your testimony. You may not have won today, But heaven still sees who you are. [Chorus] Win or lose, IBK, you're the trophy, A ṣẹ́gun tàbí a ṣẹ́gbẹ̀ — Ọlọ́run ṣì wà pẹ̀lú rẹ. Don't let defeat define you, Don't let victory change you. Keep growing, keep learning, keep becoming, Ẹni tí Ọlọ́run dá ẹ sí ni ayé rẹ ń pè ọ́ sí. [Outro – Deep Reggae] Win or loss… you're still the trophy. Success or failure… God is still writing your story. Má wo ohun tí o pàdánù, wo ẹni tí o ń di. Keep becoming… keep believing… Until you become the person God created you to be. IBK… you are the trophy. 🏆

Inspiration
Drawing from your request for a soft reggae intro that builds emotional depth, this composition transforms a motivational message into a spiritual anthem. The integration of Yoruba proverbs and phrases ("Ọlọ́run ló mọ̀ ọ̀nà rẹ") anchors the universal themes of perseverance in culturally authentic language, creating an intimate conversation between the artist and the listener about identity beyond circumstance.
Emotional Impact
The song evokes profound comfort and empowerment, offering listeners permission to release the burden of perfectionism. The reggae groove provides rhythmic stability while the vulnerable vocal delivery and spiritual affirmations create an uplifting yet introspective atmosphere—simultaneously soothing anxious hearts and igniting determination for continuous self-improvement.
