Soulful Praise & Worship
Lyrics
Description
Yahweh, the storms surround me
A thousand voices, a job like deed or fee
But what when fear tries to drown me
I lift my eyes to where mercy meets
You are my shield when the battle is raging
The lifter of my head, my song in the night
From Your holy, mountain
You answer with fire
Your voice breaks the darkness
Your love fights for me
Yahweh, my shield, my glory
No weapon forth can stand
From the grave to the victory
You hold me in Your hand
The enemy trembles at the sound of Your name
Yahweh, my shield, forever the same
Oh, Yahweh, save me
Oh, Yahweh, save me
Oh, Yahweh, save me
Oh, Yahweh
I slept in the shadow of danger
I woke to Your breath in my lungs
Ten thousand foes, You're my answer
Your roar shatters the teeth of the wrong
Yahweh, my shield, my glory
No weapon forth can stand
From the grave to the victory
You hold me in Your hand
The enemy trembles at the sound of Your name
Yahweh, my shield, forever the same
Oh, Yahweh, save me
Oh, Yahweh, save me
Oh, Yahweh, save me
Break the chain
Shake it up
I see You close the bottomless door
Strike the waters
The night
Yahweh of angel armies rides
Every knee bows
Every chain falls
Deliverance belongs to the Lord of all
Barbarous wickedness
Hide Your bloody lies alive
Don't let
Your coldness go out
The power of God's love
Our God
Save me
Flosarous wars to new births tonight
Unshakable trust in Yahweh's deliverance
Haunting yet hopeful
Battle cry meets worship
