[Intro - Spoken]
Before time had a beginning...
Before the stars learned how to burn...
Before angels sang...
There was God.
[Chorus]
Who sits above the heavens?
Who spoke and worlds appeared?
Who holds creation in His hands?
The One that demons fear.
No throne above His throne.
No power stands alone.
From everlasting unto everlasting,
God reigns forever on.
[Verse 1 — The Almighty]
Before the dawn of light, unmeasured and wide,
No scrolls to recount what was burning inside.
No skies wide open, no oceans to wave,
Just God, whole and vast, the Father and the Brave.
He whispered cosmos alive, turning dark into flame,
He stretched endless skies, no two stars the same.
A billion suns blaze, but they bow in the night,
Each atom's a servant, every shadow draws light.
Isaiah caught glimpses, seraphs veiled their gaze,
Holy on holy through untold days.
No eye can withstand the fullness he wears,
Yet mercy still carries through infinite prayers.
Leviathan feels it, Behemoth bends low,
Kings tremble in silence; none answer the show.
Time bends to His summons, creation obeys,
Maker and keeper, the ancient of days.
[Chorus]
Who sits above the heavens?
Who spoke and worlds appeared?
Who holds creation in His hands?
The One that demons fear.
No throne above His throne.
No power stands alone.
From everlasting unto everlasting,
God reigns forever on.
[Verse 2 — The Son]
Then stepped the Word in flesh, carried by sacred wind,
The Son adored by all, divine without end.
He walked on endless waves, storms hushed at His call,
Blind eyes found light, silence shattered the fall.
He cracked open graves, unmade death's cold grip,
The nails couldn’t bind Him, the cross wouldn't flip.
Darkness circled sharp but couldn't contain,
Three days passed — the stone rolled off once again.
The Lamb roared Lion, power claimed His seat,
Now enthroned at the right, where heaven and earth meet.
King of kings, alive beyond shadow or time,
His blood wrote victory, eternal, sublime.
[Chorus]
Who sits above the heavens?
Who spoke and worlds appeared?
Who holds creation in His hands?
The One that demons fear.
No throne above His throne.
No power stands alone.
From everlasting unto everlasting,
God reigns forever on.
[Bridge]
Spirit of God...
Breath of creation...
Fire of heaven...
Power of salvation...
Michael stands ready.
The armies await.
But only one kingdom
Will eternally reign.
[Verse 3 — The War in Heaven]
Spirit touched first, when time was still raw,
The breath that spun worlds, held tight by His law.
He shakes every nation,
Unveils blinded eyes,
Marks saints with a seal,
Where glory will rise.
Michael charges forth, armies gleam like light,
Shield of Israel, a fierce sword in fight.
The dragon resists, rebellion ignites,
But the sky won't crack under holy rights.
Cherub once radiant, reflects bright and true,
Now fallen and wandering, casting shadows anew.
Darkness commands for one final hour,
But bound by the One whose throne holds the power.
Satan's reach is known,
But limits set straight,
Judgment penned down
From the moment he strayed.
Revelation spills what forever will claim,
The serpent collapsed beneath Heaven's name.
The blaze burns without end,
The battle is done,
All creation roars loud:
"THY KINGDOM COME!"
[Final Chorus - Full Choir & Orchestra]
Who sits above the heavens?
Who spoke and worlds appeared?
Who holds creation in His hands?
The One that demons fear.
No throne above His throne.
No power stands alone.
From everlasting unto everlasting,
God reigns forever on.
Forever...
And ever...
Amen.
[Outro - Choir fading with thunder and shofar]
Amen…
