[Intro] The Truth On the News Dogbuster - Papa Here comes the headline news O o gboro felifeli - wakami, wakami, wakami Irohin kari aye [Verse 1] Listen to the news update From the source you can validate Beyond the noise and debate You can easily relate Lies and truth must separate Lies create a false state To manipulate our fate But wisdom can illuminate What ignorance can't contemplate Lies agitate and complicate They manipulate and indoctrinate They formulate and fabricate But the truth they cannot eradicate Because the facts accumulate And the truth will resonate Though behind the gate They legislate and confisticate, Intimidate and segregate. But the people can regenerate. [Chorus] The truth is on the rave, Making waves on the waves Truth on the broadcast Lies may travel far To join the twinkle twinkle little star But the truth outlast Truth on the telecast What is hidden in the dark Comes to light at last [Verse 2] The outcast become forecast I stand steadfast My dream is cast A blast from the past Moving hard and fast I sail to the mast I nail my colour to the mast Leaving them aghast Serving them breakfast, Fast, fast. The foundation shaking The sleeping minds awakening The falsehood slowly breaking The new dawn in the making No forecast can hide the past The truth moves unsurpassed And arrives at last [Chorus] The truth is on the rave, Making waves on the waves Truth on the broadcast Lies may travel far To join the twinkle twinkle little star But the truth outlast Truth on the telecast What is hidden in the dark Comes to light at last [Outro] Open your eyes, make you see Open your mind, make you free, Open your ears, make you hear, The truth is closer than it appears. Come close, come near Conquer your fear

Gist
A powerful call-to-action anthem that exposes the pervasive nature of misinformation in media while celebrating the inevitable triumph of truth. The track positions the artist as a steadfast voice challenging institutional deception and awakening collective consciousness to reality beyond the headlines.
Themes
- The battle between truth and deception in media narratives
- Institutional manipulation and systemic oppression
- Individual and collective awakening and resistance
- The resilience and ultimate victory of factual reality
- Personal conviction and standing firm in one's principles
Inspiration
Inspired by your request to create a socially conscious hip-hop track, this song channels the energy of West African storytelling (evidenced by the Yoruba phrases) merged with contemporary hip-hop activism. The track transforms your original prompt into a manifesto against misinformation, using rapid-fire rhyme schemes and clever wordplay to mirror the overwhelming nature of false narratives while asserting that truth, like waves, cannot be contained and will ultimately reach all shores.
Emotional Impact
The track evokes a sense of righteous urgency and empowerment, combining righteous indignation at systemic deception with inspirational hope. Listeners experience both the frustration of living in an information-saturated world and the cathartic release of defiant resistance. The outro's meditative call to "open your eyes, mind, and ears" leaves audiences feeling simultaneously challenged and liberated, motivated to seek truth independently.
