THE LORD MY SHEPHERD 2
Gospel
Lyrics
Description
[Verse 1]
The Lord my shepherd, I lack nothing, see
He leads me where the wild grass bends so free
Beside the hush of waters still, I rest
Feeding on the quiet joy, I’m truly blessed
[Chorus]
And I will trust in You alone
Hear my heart, You’re my cornerstone
Your endless mercy trails behind
Your grace, a light that’s mine to find
And I will trust in You alone
Your goodness, the sweetest song
Following where You gently go
Restoring breath, restoring soul
[Verse 2]
Though shadows creep along the hardest road
I feel Your hand, the calm that breaks the cold
Your rod, Your staff, like steady arms to hold
I walk through night, no fear in stories told
[Chorus]
And I will trust in You alone
Hear my heart, You’re my cornerstone
Your endless mercy trails behind
Your grace, a light that’s mine to find
And I will trust in You alone
Your goodness, the sweetest song
Following where You gently go
Restoring breath, restoring soul
[Bridge]
You lay a feast before my eyes, a welcome sight
Anoint my head with oil, a fragrant light
My cup spills over with a quiet joy
Sure as dawn, your love will not betray
[Chorus]
And I will trust in You alone
Hear my heart, You’re my cornerstone
Your endless mercy trails behind
Your grace, a light that’s mine to find
And I will trust in You alone
Your goodness, the sweetest song
Following where You gently go
Restoring breath, restoring soul
[Outro]
Your goodness, Lord, leads me gently home
Endless mercy won't leave me alone
