Lyrics
Description
Bright, new screen, fresh out the box, Glass shining like a diamond, no cracks, no shocks.
Slide to the rhythm, tap to the beat, Every notification feels like a heartbeat.
But gravity’s a sneaky threat, One little slip and then it bends,
From bristing to shatter, oh what a sight, My new phone’s glass is losing the fight.
Swipe, drop, repeat, the cycle’s so wild, Buying new phones like a restless child.
From the thrill of the shin to the break on the street, It’s a dance of tech and defeat.
Swipe, drop, repeat, can’t help but play, The story of phones in my hands every day.
Piece on tight, almost so strong, But that ping seems a different song.
Cracks spreading like a wedding night, A costly love story out of sight.
Screen’s flickering, but I still scroll, Lost in the glow, it’s taking its toll.
Yet I’m back in the store, bathing anew, The cycle’s endless, but what can I do?
Swipe, drop, repeat, the cycle’s so wild, Buying new phones like a restless child.
From the thrill of the shin to the break on the street, It’s a dance of tech and defeat.
Swipe, drop, repeat, can’t help but play, The story of phones in my hands every day.
Maybe one day I’ll keep it tight, Guard it close through day and night,
But until then, it’s a game I’ll keep playing, Breaking promises cheap.
Swipe, drop, repeat, the cycle’s so wild, Buying new phones like a restless child.
From the thrill of the shine.
