[Verse 1: Female Lead]
Cabin door, dawn on the pine,
Sneakers scuff the gravel line.
Morning bell, we laugh and race,
Sun on our faces, hope in our place.
[Pre-Chorus: Group — claps on 2 & 4]
Hand in hand, we step in stride, (clap-clap)
Trusting the One who walks beside. (clap-clap)
Every small step, every brave try,
We lift our voices to the sky.
[Chorus: Full Group — piano fills, light drums]
Faith and friends, we heal our hearts,
Singing out beneath the stars.
Finding purpose, finding grace,
Freedom calls us to this place —
Summer of Faith! (Summer of Faith!)
Summer of Faith! (echo: Summer of Faith!)
[Verse 2: Male Lead]
Campfire glow, marshmallow skies,
Canoe at dawn, laughter flies.
Star blankets, whispering trees,
Stories turning into please-believe.
[Pre-Chorus: Group — add claps]
Side by side, we choose the climb, (clap-clap)
Pointing to hope, one step at a time. (clap-clap)
When fear knocks, we answer with song,
Holding on, we grow strong.
[Chorus: Full Group — stronger piano, claps]
Faith and friends, we heal our hearts,
Singing out beneath the stars.
Finding purpose, finding grace,
Freedom calls us to this place —
Summer of Faith! (call) / Summer of Faith! (response)
Summer of Faith! (everyone)
[Bridge: Group — soft strings lift, dynamic twist]
(Leader) I once walked near the edge of doubt,
Sheltered my hurt and turned about.
A hand reached out from the fire's light —
(Everyone) "Come on in, we’ll hold you tight."
(Leader) I let go of fear and learned to stand,
They gave me second chances, gave me a hand.
[Bridge Tag: Male & Female Lead]
We found mercy by the cabin door,
We chose the path worth living for.
[Chorus: Full Group — full band, big claps, piano fills]
Faith and friends, we heal our hearts,
Singing out beneath the stars.
Finding purpose, finding grace,
Freedom calls us to this place —
Summer of Faith! (call) / Summer of Faith! (response)
Here we belong — Summer of Faith!
[Call-and-Response Tag: Teen Leads & Group]
(Lead) Can you feel His love tonight?
(Group) We can feel it, shining bright!
(Lead) Will you walk this road with us?
(Group) We will follow, full of trust!
(Leads together) Summer of Faith!
(Group echo) Summer of Faith!
[Outro: Male & Female Lead with Group softly — acoustic guitar, soft strings]
Cabin lights, a new sunrise,
Hands held close beneath these skies.
Summer of friends, summer of truth,
We carry home this fearless youth.
(Ending chant — all)
Summer of Faith! (Summer of Faith!)
Summer of Faith! (Here we belong!)
