STAY PRAYED UP
SPOKEN INTRO (NO BEAT)
(Low, calm, prophetic tone)
“And I saw… what was written… and the time is near.”
(Hook - Deep Slow Rap Tone)
And I saw the beast and the kings of earth.
They gathered together to make war
They come to hurt with the mark of the beast
and sharp teeth the antichrist has come to defeat.
Satan shall again try to rise up
Armageddon is near you better stay prayed up.
(Ad-libs: “Pray up,” “Revelation”)
VERSE 1 — STREET / APOCALYPTIC WARNING
(Calm, deliberate, building intensity)
And I saw a beast with seven heads, seven horns, ten crowns,
Sharp as a horn, prophecy thunderin’ loud.
A leopard with bear feet, lion’s grim grill,
Ancient vision unfoldin’ — this world gettin’ real.
Theology clashin’, World War three in the air,
Beast from the land, deadly wound healed there.
By the prince of this world, satanic display,
False signs and wonders got the masses astray.
Grapes of wrath pressed daily, judgment drawing near,
Second bowl poured — darkness, pain, and fear.
Cold souls clutch steel, badge or the street,
I cry “Dear God save me” at the judgment seat.
(Ad-libs: “This ain't a movie,” “Jesus”)
HOOK
And I saw the beast and the kings of earth.
They gathered together to make war
They come to hurt with the mark of the beast
and sharp teeth the antichrist has come to defeat.
Satan shall again try to rise up
Armageddon is near you better stay prayed up.
VERSE 2 — TEACHING / DEEP RAP
(Clear, deliberate, slow deliberate flow)
Second seal opened — war break loose,
Fiery red horse, no time to choose.
Nation on nation, brother on brother,
Love grows cold, hearts harden further.
Seven seals speak what the scroll foretold,
Judgment precise, never uncontrolled.
Fear God, give glory, hour at hand,
Seven bowls poured by righteous command.
Darkness and pain, yet mercy still call,
Even in wrath He’s reachin’ for all.
Christ on white horse, truth in His name,
Every knee bow, every tongue proclaim.
HOOK
And I saw the beast and the kings of earth.
They gathered together to make war
They come to hurt with the mark of the beast
and sharp teeth the antichrist has come to defeat.
Satan shall again try to rise up
Armageddon is near you better stay prayed up.
(Crowd response: “Stay prayed up”)
VERSE 3 — PROPHETIC / VICTORY
(Soft beat, building to power)
Great white throne, books laid bare,
Every soul stand, truth in the air.
River of life, crystal and pure,
What God promised forever secure.
No more curse, no sorrow remain,
Former things gone, no death, no pain.
God said don’t seal what I showed to you,
Time is near, every word true.
Alpha Omega, master of life,
Beginning and end, faithful in strife.
Jesus the Christ, David’s seed,
By His blood we are truly freed.
FINAL HOOK — FULL POWER
And I saw the beast and the kings of earth.
They gathered together to make war
They come to hurt with the mark of the beast
and sharp teeth the antichrist has come to defeat.
Satan shall again try to rise up
Armageddon is near you better stay prayed up.
