Scripture tells the story again and again
Moses ran, Elijah broke
David fell, yet God restored them all
Moses ran with blood on his hands in the sand
A fugitive hiding from guilt and command
Forty years in the desert believing
His caught was buried forever beneath his fall
But fire and a bush lit the dark desert sky
A voice from the heavens said you will rise
Not because you aren't perfect or worthy to stand
But because my grace still covers this man
The shepherd returned with the staff in his hand
The deliverer leading the wandering band
The man who once ran from the weight of his shame
Would stand before Pharaoh declaring God's name
Even the righteous fall sometimes
Even the faithful lose their way in the night
But grace lifts higher than every mistake
Mercy restores every heart that breaks
Seven times falling still we rise again
Not by our strength but the hand of heaven
If God used them he can use you too
Grace still makes broken people new
Rise again
Rise again
Elijah called fire down onto the ground
But fear chased the prophet when threats came around
Under a tree he collapsed in despair
Thinking his life had ended there
But heaven sent angels with bread in the night
A whisper reminding him stand and fight
Because victory doesn't mean you won't break
But God still restores the hearts that ache
The prophet rose stronger though weary inside
Because mercy still walks with the humble who cry
And the God who restored him under that tree
Still restores every broken believer we see
Even the righteous fall sometimes
Even the faithful lose their way in the night
But grace lifts higher than every mistake
Mercy restores every heart that breaks
Seven times falling still we rise again
Not by our strength but the hand of heaven
If God used them he can use you too
Grace still makes broken people new
Rise again
Rise again
David wore a crown but his heart felt the shame
A king brought low by a moment of flame
But tears in the temple and ashes in prayer
Opened the door to mercy
They're creating me a clean heart again
Wash me in mercy, forgive my sin
Because God doesn't turn from a heart that bends
He restores the soul that repents
And the same mercy written in David's cross
Still lifts every soul when they fall and try
Because redemption has always been
God raising the broken again and again
The cross still stands where mercy was given
And every broken heart still belongs in heaven
Even the righteous fall sometimes
Even the faithful lose their way in the night
But grace lifts higher than every mistake
Mercy restores every heart that breaks
Seven times falling still we rise again
Not by our strength but the hand of heaven
If God used them he can use you too
Grace still makes broken people new
Rise again
Rise again
This is redemption
This is grace
Through Yeshua we rise again
