(Verse 1)
Tiny thunder on the windowsill, a whiskered wink, a grin,
Mischievous hamster on the loose — the night's about to begin.
Cheeks packed tight with jelly gold, a cheeky little jelly belly,
Pocket-sized pirate with a grin, a torty coat so smelly—so merry. (replace: so spry)
(Pre-Chorus)
Cardboard crow's nest, blanket seas, a squeaky compass swings,
Sunflower-seed doubloons tucked in folds, she hides small, daring things.
A tunnel becomes a galleon, a tube a roaring gale,
She charts the map with tiny paws, a whispered, wicked tale.
(Chorus)
Oh, cheeky jelly belly, pocket pirate so sly,
Tiny grin, sunflower doubloons sailing by.
Mischief on the map, starry seas to explore,
Our hamster captain — we all want more!
(Call & Response tag)
Call: "Who’s that?" / Response: "Our pocket pirate!"
(Vocal riff: ooh-ooah — playful)
(Verse 2)
Cardboard cannon, stitched-up flag, a plush crew at her feet,
She buries bedtime treasures where the rug and moonlight meet.
A twinkle in her eyepatch, a toothy, daring grin,
She steals the last crumb from the cookie jar and burrows right back in.
(Pre-Chorus)
Wheel like a helm, the squeak like song, her laughter fills the night,
Every shoebox is a fortress, every ledge a new delight.
Sunbeam maps and toothpaste stars, a shredded note for clues,
She hides her tiny victories in a pocket full of news.
(Bridge — whispered then swell)
(Whisper) "All aboard... treasure ahead..."
A hush — map folded tight, a lantern made of thread.
(Spoken, small and bold) "All aboard! Treasure ahead!"
(Then swell) Crow's-nest cheers, the night sails wide, a tiny flag unfurled,
She plants a sunflower-seed on the carpet — she conquers our small world.
(Chorus — Variation, punchy)
Oh, cheeky jelly belly, pocket pirate so sly,
Sunflower doubloons and a starlit sky.
Mischief marks the map, adventure by the score,
Our hamster captain — take us where she's soared!
(Call & Response tag, louder)
Call: "Who’s that?" / Response: "Our pocket pirate!"
(Vocal riff: ooh-ooah — children’s-call, then harmony)
(Outro)
Raise a crumb to the rogue of night, a cardboard crown askew,
Our torty little naughty, forever brave and true.
She never behaves — and thank the stars she won’t,
Pocket pirate hamster, our cheeky jelly belly, full of mischief and song.
