Description
Outro
Music
Morning spills like cracked paint on the porch floor
Or so Cantorino kicks up dust down the old middle road
Shirt sleeves rolled, high pockets empty but dreams fold
A laugh bursts off, keep it wild like a street parade
Sun haunts the rooftops, chasing down its footsteps
Every beat, a blip, a slip, a slip, slight trip
Or so Cantorino, oh oh oh oh
Or so Cantorino, oh oh oh oh
Or so Cantorino, oh oh oh oh
Or so Cantorino, oh oh oh oh
Music
His shadow trails in one, two, three, a jitterbug gag
Whistles snag on crooked smiles, an unfinished song
He trips on the loose, cobblestone spins a tail in blue
The world blinks then bursts out laughing, tangled in his yawn
Hands in the air, off beat, world catches a breath
Heart ricochets, a comet, trapped in a back alley race
Or so Cantorino, oh oh oh oh
Or so Cantorino, oh oh oh oh
Or so Cantorino, oh oh oh oh
Or so Cantorino, oh oh oh oh
Music
Free fall in slow motion, stumble turn into fly
Strings pull tight, notes crack wide, beauty in the mess
Chaotic hymn on the wind, or so's name a wild song
Caught between a laugh and a cry, spinning loud, barely right
Or so Cantorino, oh oh oh oh
Or so Cantorino, oh oh oh oh
Or so Cantorino, oh oh oh oh
Or so Cantorino, oh oh oh oh
Whispering roar down empty streets
Or so Cantorino's breath still lingers here
A last awry in the dusk soft clutch
Leaving footprints tangled in the fading cheer
