Lyrics
Description
We come from every land and sea From mountains high and valleys deep
From highlands proud and Malmay shores From southern winds to island oars
With hundreds of tongues, a thousand tribes Our strength in every heart survives
But today, we rise together, side by side Under gold, red, black, and white with pride
We stand as one, our spirits fly With wings of the kumul in the sky
As one people, One nation Forever strong, One foundation
We gather not just to celebrate Our 15th jubilee proud and great
But to honor every battle won The trials faced, the work begun
Through every storm we still endure Our hearts are brave, our roots are pure
And today, we rise together, side by side Under gold, red, black, and white with pride
We stand as one, our spirits fly With wings of the kumul in the sky
As one people, One nation Forever strong, One foundation
With the spirit of our fathers near We walk through darkness without fear
Through every challenge, pain, and strife We hold the torch of hope and life
So today, we rise together, side by side Under gold, red, black, and white with pride
We stand as one, our spirits fly With wings of the kumul in the sky
We rise together, side by side Under gold, red, black, and white with pride
As one people, One nation
God bless Papua New Guinea Forever strong, our destiny
