(Verse 1 - Mr. Smart)
Dem draw the lines for eighteen eighty-four (oh yeah)
But we all be one behind the door (be one!)
So Guinea, Sierra Leone, why we dey fight?
Over land wey never been we own by right?
Only love we need, nor winner for dis war!
Make we forget the past and heal the sore!
(Pre-Chorus - Rihanna)
Put your weapons down, can’t you see?
This fight ain’t for you and it ain’t for me.
We’re just pawns in a game we didn’t choose,
It’s our lives and our children’s lives to lose...
(Chorus - All Artists)
Let peace rain! Let it fall on us!
Make peace rain oh!
From the streets of Freetown to the world, it’s a new sound!
Put your flags down, just look around!
We are one heart, one beat on the ground!
Let peace rain! Let it fall down!
(Verse 2 - Chris Brown)
I’m sendin’ love to the East and the West,
To the ones who are puttin’ their peace to the test.
To Ukraine and to Russia, you’re family,
Gaza and Israel, can’t you see?
To the politicians in the parties, cut the greed,
Plant a different, better, more peaceful seed.
(Pre-Chorus - Mr. Smart)
A message to the youth wey dey sell kush!
You dey destroy the future, na serious case oh!
To the mining company and government, do the right thing!
Give the landowner dem their right and development!
(Chorus - All Artists)
Let peace rain! Let it fall on us!
From the streets of Freetown to the world, it’s a new sound!
Put your flags down, just look around!
We are one heart, one beat on the ground!
Let peace rain! Let it fall down!
