Inspiration

Inspired by the original lyrics’ evocative imagery and emotional depth, this song reflects the universal struggle of releasing love when happiness cannot be shared. The Indonesian phrase “Mengundurkan demi bahagia” (“Retreating for happiness”) encapsulates the noble yet painful choice to prioritize another’s well-being, beautifully rendered through poetic metaphors and a slow rock soundscape enhanced by experimental textures.

Emotional Impact

Listeners are drawn into a profound journey of melancholy and hope, feeling the raw vulnerability of heartbreak intertwined with a serene acceptance. The dynamic shifts—from hushed pre-choruses to soaring, emotive choruses—invite empathy and introspection, leaving a lasting impression of tender sacrifice and enduring love.
