Lyrics
Description
(Verse 1)
I wasn’t the strongest,
Didn’t have the speed,
Wisdom of the world
Never planted in me.
They laughed at my voice,
Said I wouldn’t go far,
But God saw a preacher
Where they saw a scar.
(Pre-Chorus)
When I gave Him my weakness,
He gave me His fire,
Now I speak with boldness,
Lifted me higher!
(Chorus (Hook))
Grace took over, I’m no longer the same,
He used the foolish to glorify His name.
Not by might, not by strength, not my fame—
It’s all by Your mercy, Your love, and Your grace.
When I was broken and thought I was done,
You said, “Through you, My will shall be done.”
I gave You my voice, You gave me Your flame—
Grace took over, and I’ll never be the same.
(Verse 2)
They crowned the noble,
Praised the wise and the strong,
But You called the stutterer
And gave him a song.
The world sees weakness,
But You see a seed,
Planted in grace
That grows past every need.
(Pre-Chorus)
I said, “Lord, take it,
It’s all I’ve got,”
You turned my silence
Into Heaven’s shout!
(Chorus (Repeat))
Grace took over, I’m no longer the same,
He used the foolish to glorify His name.
Not by might, not by strength, not my fame—
It’s all by Your mercy, Your love, and Your grace.
When I was broken and thought I was done,
You said, “Through you, My will shall be done.”
I gave You my voice, You gave me Your flame—
Grace took over, and I’ll never be the same.
(Bridge (Spoken/Sung blend))
"I see a miracle, this must be God..."
I was the least likely,
But that’s who You choose—
So no man can glory,
Only You get the proof.
Now I'm standing here,
By grace alone I rise—
Your power perfected
Where weakness lies!
(Final Chorus (Key Change – Climax))
Grace took over, Heaven wrote my name,
You turned my trials into holy flame.
Not by my works, not a trophy I claim—
You get the glory, You get the praise.
Even in weakness, You call me to run,
Your strength in my silence has just begun.
From ashes to purpose, I carry Your flame—
Grace took over, and I’ll never be the same.
