Description
This ain’t just bars—this is my blood.
It started with Dad sayin’, “You ain’t mine.”
From that moment, I broke inside.
Home wasn’t home. I was the ghost.
Smart at school, but hated most.
Bullied for being bright, till year seven hit—
Found boys who fought back. That was it.
Fists over books, rage in my chest.
Grades dropped, pain did the rest.
Started smoking, drinking deep.
Didn't wanna feel, didn't wanna think.
Got charged young, in and out of cells.
Met kids like me, straight from hell.
Streets became the only family.
No gifts, no calls—just misery.
By sixteen, meth in my lungs.
Mind snapped, voices stung.
Tried to die more than once.
Wrote notes no one saw, no one read.
But I kept breathing. I wasn’t dead.
Eighteen, locked up, losing grip.
But I wasn’t done with this sinking ship.
Then came Sarah, my only calm.
She had Bianka—felt like a balm.
Not mine by blood, but mine by heart.
Then Tyla came, gave me a restart.
But I was broken—jail took me again.
She waited. Didn’t cave. Stayed when it rained.
Came out clean, gave it a go.
Moved to Wagga, started slow.
Connor was born, I stayed clean.
Four years straight, felt like a dream.
But I went back to Mudgee—dumb move.
Fell hard, couldn’t prove I’d improved.
Back on drugs, deals and guns.
Gone for days, under black suns.
Sarah had Cooper, but I was gone.
She said she’s done—I knew she was strong.
But I begged. I ran. I changed again.
Moved to Pambula, tried to mend.
Got a job. Fought the crave.
Built something from the mess I made.
Then 2024, work dragged me back.
Mudgee again—felt the old crack.
Stayed off ice, but the drink crept in.
Fights, blackouts, wearing thin.
Then my mate got stabbed. Died blood spilled police giving me chills
I still see his face when it’s quiet and dark.
But I ain’t touched meth. I stay clean.
Still fighting demons, still in between.
Sarah’s here. That love is real.
My kids—Bianka, Tyla, Connor, and Cooper they help me heal.
From ghost to father. From street to man.
Still scarred. Still here. Still doing all I can.
