My most respected elders, dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
Every Muslim man and woman should understand a very serious truth:
Iman (faith) is not just belief in the heart,
but obedience in every part of life.

From the highest forms of worship to even using the toilet —
yes, even in that — we have been taught by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ,
how to follow the way of Islam.
The Sunnah is not a small thing,
it is the path of the Prophet ﷺ,
and it is directly connected to our faith.

When a believer knowingly ignores the Sunnah,
and imitates the ways of those who do not believe in Allah —
even in the smallest matters —
it is as if he is turning his back on the gift of guidance.
Listen carefully: Just as idol worship is directly against faith,
ignoring the Sunnah — and preferring another way of life —
is also a form of disrespect toward faith.

What does the Qur’an say?
"Say: If you love Allah, then follow me (the Prophet),
Allah will love you and forgive your sins..."
(Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:31)
This verse makes it clear: love for Allah means following the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.

And another verse warns us:
"Let those beware who oppose his (the Prophet's) command,
lest a trial befall them or a painful punishment befall them."
(Surah An-Nur 24:63)
So yes, dear brothers and sisters,
even something as basic as relieving ourselves must be done
the way Rasulullah ﷺ taught us — facing away from the Qibla,
yusing the left hand, cleaning ourselves properly,
making dua before and after.

Because faith is complete when we live Islam
in every breath, every step, and every habit.
May Allah grant us the love of the Sunnah,
and save us from falling into the path of those who oppose His Messenger.
