Lyrics
Description
(verse)
Omo, life no balance, I no go lie
Every day I dey hustle with tears for eye
No be say I no try, but street dey test man
I dey pray make I no break, make I still stand
I dey wake for night, thoughts full my head
Dreams dey loud but reality dey dread
But I no go fold, even if I crawl
Na my story go loud, I no fit fall
(chorus)
Oh Jah Jah, oh Jah Jah
Don't let me down down
Don't let me down down
Oh Jah Jah, oh Jah Jah
Don't let me down down down
Don't let me down down
(verse)
Dem say make I quit, say my time don pass
But I dey move with grace, I no dey look their class
Shoe don cut, hope don scatter
But I patch my dream with prayer and matter
I come from where light no dey but we still shine
Where boys dey fall, but I still dey climb
I no get much, but I get my name
I no born rich, but I go change the game
I dey hustle clean, I no dey fraud
I dey trust my pain, and I dey trust my God
Wetin I see, no fit tell finish
But I go turn this pain to street vintage
(chorus)
Oh Jah Jah, oh Jah Jah
Don't let me down down
Don't let me down down
Oh Jah Jah, oh Jah Jah
Don't let me down down down
Don't let me down down
(outro)
Jah, na only you fit see this wound
Make I no fall for this road…
I still believe… even with tears.
