[Verse 1] Step into the light, feel the heat rise Bass is pumping through the floor, no disguise Sequins catch the shimmer, silver and gold Tonight we're young, we'll never grow old The DJ spins magic, the groove's in my hips I'm tasting freedom on my cherry-stained lips [Pre-Chorus] Can you feel it building? The rhythm's taking hold Every heartbeat syncs up, we're breaking the mold Hands up to the ceiling, let the music take control [Chorus] Dance floor fever, burning bright tonight We're spinning in the colors, lost in the lights Move your body closer, let the bassline lead Dance floor fever, it's all we need Dance floor fever, yeah, that's right We're alive, we're electric, we're dynamite [Verse 2] Velvet ropes and mirror balls, reflections everywhere The horns are blaring truth, floating through the air Your hand finds mine in the crowd, we don't need words Just the pulse of the strings and the flight of the birds Sweat and glitter mix like some kind of prayer We're writing our story in the way that we flare [Pre-Chorus] Can you feel it building? The rhythm's taking hold Every heartbeat syncs up, we're breaking the mold Hands up to the ceiling, let the music take control [Chorus] Dance floor fever, burning bright tonight We're spinning in the colors, lost in the lights Move your body closer, let the bassline lead Dance floor fever, it's all we need Dance floor fever, yeah, that's right We're alive, we're electric, we're dynamite [Bridge] Don't stop now, the night is ours We're shooting higher than the stars Every turn, every slide, every dip We're sailing on this funky trip The groove gets deeper, the strings soar wide Let go of everything—just ride, ride, ride! [Chorus] Dance floor fever, burning bright tonight We're spinning in the colors, lost in the lights Move your body closer, let the bassline lead Dance floor fever, it's all we need Dance floor fever, yeah, that's right We're alive, we're electric, we're dynamite [Outro] The fever's got me now, won't let me go I'm lost inside the rhythm, head to toe Dance floor fever… dance floor fever… Keep on moving, believer, believer Dance floor fever… all night long
