Blessed be the name of the Lord\nOur hope lies in the blood of his redemption \nBlessed be the name of the Lord\nHe's been our very help and our salvation \n\nWe fell with our first progenitors \nWorthy of nothing but suffering and death\nLike the rots in the graves and tombs\nOur soul revels in corruption and dirt\n\nTill he looked down upon us with mercy\nIn his love he poured his grace\nThat we be saved from corruption and sin\nThe power and strength to win this race\n\nSo we sing\nBlessed be the name of the Lord\nOur hope lies in the blood of his redemption \nBlessed be the name of the Lord\nHe's been our very help and our salvation\n\nThere is no one like our Lord Jesus\nOur very present help in times of need\nWe walked the path of destruction and loss\nWith black souls manifesting all evil deeds\n\nTill he looked down upon us with mercy\nIn his love he poured his grace\nThat we be saved from corruption and sin\nThe power and strength to win this race\n\nSo we sing \nBlessed be the name of the Lord\nOur hope lies in the blood of his redemption \nBlessed be the name of the Lord\nHe's been our very help and our salvation
