Description
[Verse 1]
It started with words on a quiet screen,
Late-night talks and honesty.
Back in 2001, before love felt safe,
Two hearts trusted faith before a face.
You loved Jesus, music too,
A singer with calling written through you.
You were looking for someone the same—
Not just words, but a life shaped by His name.
[Pre-Chorus]
I hadn’t heard your voice or seen you move,
But every message pulled me closer to you.
[Chorus]
I fell in love before I saw you,
Before your eyes ever met mine.
I loved your faith, I loved your fire,
I loved the way God shaped your life.
I didn’t need proof, I didn’t need time,
I knew what was real long before the sign.
I didn’t fall that night in view—
I fell in love before I saw you.
[Verse 2]
Your picture sat there on your profile page,
Nothing staged, just a moment framed.
The moment I saw it, my heart stood still,
I couldn’t stop looking… couldn’t stop thinking of you.
It wasn’t just beauty catching my eyes,
It was kindness written there inside.
What my heart already knew was true,
Your face just showed me more of you.
[Pre-Chorus 2]
And when you said we’d meet where God was near,
I knew love was being handled with care.
[Chorus]
I fell in love before I saw you,
But seeing you deepened the truth.
What God had whispered to my soul,
He let my eyes see too.
You weren’t just lovely to behold,
You were calling wrapped in flesh and soul.
I didn’t fall in love that view—
I fell in love before… then deeper with you.
[Bridge]
You wouldn’t meet just anywhere,
A church revival, sacred air.
I had another road still open wide,
Another year, another calling in sight.
But some dreams bend in God’s perfect time,
Some callings don’t end — they realign.
I didn’t walk away from who I was meant to be,
I walked toward it — choosing we.
[Final Chorus]
I fell in love before I saw you,
And I still fall every day.
Not because it’s easy or perfect now,
But because you chose to stay.
From online words to holy ground,
From separate calls to walking one—
I didn’t rush love, I didn’t run…
I trusted God, and I chose one.
[Outro]
Back in 2001, faith led the way,
Before a touch, before a face.
I loved your heart before your smile,
And I still choose you — every mile.

In 2002, I didn’t walk away from who I was meant to be,I walked toward it — choosing we.
