Inspiration

Drawing from the raw vulnerability in your original lyrics, this techno composition transforms intimate heartbreak into an urgent, pulsating soundscape. The repetitive mantra "it's always been you" mirrors the hypnotic nature of obsessive longing, while the techno production creates an ironic contrast between the song's melancholic narrative and its driving, forward-moving beat—perfectly capturing the tension between trying to escape a memory and being unable to escape it.

Emotional Impact

The track evokes a bittersweet sense of resignation tinged with desperate hope. The techno framework amplifies the cyclical nature of heartbreak, creating an immersive experience that feels both anthemic and introspective. Listeners are drawn into the narrator's internal loop of comparison and longing, making the emotional journey feel both universal and deeply personal. The bridge's plea creates a cathartic moment of raw vulnerability within the mechanical precision of the genre.
