Description
It was December 24th, and the crew of Iris, Toxic, Wizzy, Avery,
Lunar, Doof, Rice, Dante, Alex, and Sumire had gathered in their newly
decorated living room. The Christmas tree was crooked, half the lights
didn’t work, and someone had taped a slice of pizza to the star topper.
“Festive as hell,” muttered Toxic, crossing his arms while Avery attempted
to straighten the tree.
“Okay,” began Iris, her black wings tucked tightly against her back as she
looked over the scene. “This might actually be the worst Christmas setup
ever.”
“Blame Lunar,” Rice interjected, popping open a soda. “They’re the one who
thought garland would look better as a skipping rope.”
Lunar was unapologetic, swinging said garland around and almost taking out
Dante in the process. Before anyone could respond, a knock came at the door.
“Who the f*** is that on Christmas Eve?” Wizzy grumbled, his winter jacket
hood pulled over his face as he reluctantly shuffled to the door.
Standing there was none other than CJ, wearing a Santa hat and holding a
giant candy cane. “Merry Christmas, y’all!” he shouted.
Everyone groaned.
“Goddamnit, CJ,” Iris muttered. “How do you keep finding us?”
“I bring the holiday cheer!” CJ declared, completely ignoring the glares.
“And a problem. Christmas is in danger!”
“What?” Sumire said, clearly skeptical. “How the hell does someone ‘endanger
Christmas’? Did you try to deep fry a reindeer?”
CJ frowned. “No, it’s bigger than that. Santa’s been kidnapped by some bad
dudes. Like, really bad dudes.”
“Define ‘bad dudes,’” Avery pressed, folding their arms.
As if on cue, a tiny elf with a clipboard appeared, looking frazzled. “We’re
talking Mike Schaffel and his band of misfit idiots. They’ve stormed the
North Pole and taken over. We need your help to save Santa!”
The room fell silent for a moment before Doof let out a long sigh. “Why is it
always us?”
Act 1: The Journey Begins
With minimal packing (and maximum complaints), the group set off toward the North Pole in a rickety,
magic-powered sled provided by the elf. Doof took the reins—literally—and managed to steer them into a tree within the first ten minutes.
“Doof, for f***’s sake, aim for the sky!” yelled Iris, holding onto the side of
the sled.
“I’m trying, okay? These reindeer don’t come with f***ing instructions!”
Despite the chaos, they eventually arrived at the outskirts of the North Pole.
The air was freezing, and snow fell like powdered sugar on a chaotic cake.
Standing guard at the entrance was none other than Mike Schaffel,
winter jacket hood pulled over his face as he reluctantly shuffled to the door.
“Well,
