یہ کرنٹ حالات فلسطین میں،
دل کو لے گئے ہیں اک اضطراب کی جھنکار۔
صبر کی حد پہ پہنچے ہیں محسنِ وطن،
نہیں کوئی سامانِ امداد، نہ کوئی سہارا۔
پتھر کی دیواروں کے پیچھے، چھپے ہوئے خواب،
پھولوں کی مانند، لہو کے رنگ میں رنگے ہوئے۔
یہ کربِِ زمانہ، دل کو دھکا دے رہا ہے،
گھر ہے کہاں، یہ سارا دُنیا کی گُلستاں۔
بے قرار آنکھیں، دیکھتی ہیں آسمان کو،
کہیں کوئی شفقِِ رحمت، نظر آئے گا؟
ہوائیں بھی سوچتی ہیں، یہ غمِِ رنجِِ گناہ،
یہ مظلوموں کی زاری مٹائے گا کون؟
خالی ہاتھوں، کیسے ملاقات کی جائے،
کچھ کہانیاں بتانے، کچھ دکھ بیان کرنے۔
یہ کربِِ انسانیت، دہر کی زنجیریں،
قہرِِ خدا، مہر ہو جائے گا کبھی؟
